Fashion Show
We would like to take this opportunity to invite all Irish Dance Dress Designers from around
the world and dancers to take part in the Big Apple Feis Fashion Show. This event has been
added to our syllabus for dancers to show off their masterpieces that have been created for
them individually and/or for their school. The Fashion show will take place during the weekend on
the 13th & 14th March 2010 in the Hilton Hotel. _ approximately 12pm {when dance AD’s
are at lunch}.
The Fashion show will be judged by a panel from the NYC FASHION ELITE to chose which
designer has the best flare, originality, most creativity, and which dress designer can be named
the Big Apple Irish Dance Dress Designer for 2010.
The Big Apple Feis Dress Designer Of The Year Winner will receive a special award. The model of
The Big Apple Feis Deisigner Of The Year will receive a small monetary award towards
their next dress/outfit.
There will be two sections : School Dress & Boy's attire and Solo Dress & Boy's/Men's attire.
The Fashion Show will be held both Sat. and Sun. _ 12pm. You can write a small blurb about
the dress/outfit design and you can play CD/or live back round music if you wish to enhance
your line.
This is a great way for all designers to show off their creative, hard work and be recognized among
the elite of the fashion world in New York City. We would like as many designs of your work to
be judged to make this a special event for a good cause.
There is a $10 donation for this event.
